Areas to do controls/Moving off & Stopping
Erridge Road is suitable for this.

Left/Right turns and emerging at T-Junctions
Begin on Erridge Road, and then turn left on to Dorset Road. Take another left on to Melrose Road, then another left on to Poplar Road. At the crossroads, turn right which takes you back on to Erridge Road. Next instruction is to take the next left on to Keswick Avenue, which emerges left on to Kenley Road. The student will then emerge left on to Circle Gardens, and should then take the first left on to Poplar Road again. Turning right at the crossroads will take the student back to Erridge Road. This circuit provides a tried and tested method for allowing the student to practice steering, MSPSL and peep and creep techniques.

Crossroads
Where Erridge Road and Poplar Road meet are crossroads suitable for illustrating priorities and the required observation needed at crossroads. For understanding right-to-right turns at crossroads, where Grand Drive and Bushey Road meet is suitable.

Roundabouts
Try the Beverley roundabout to illustrate priorities at roundabouts and the necessary positioning and signaling needed according to a particular exit.

Pedestrian Crossings and use of Signals
Kingston Road provides an array of pedestrian crossings and signals where the rules that apply to different road markings can be illustrated. This road also enables planning issues to be addressed.

Areas to do maneuvers
Erridge Road is good for practicing maneuvers.
